Meet Mariam
Howdy!
In a world that feels more and more surreal, my hope is that together we can savor life's most joyful moments, just as God intended. My job is to create a beautiful series of images for you and your loved ones to cherish and enjoy often. Our babies grow too quickly, and those thrilling, romantic, and precious events in our lives seem to be over in a blink. With stunning photography, you can relive the moments almost endlessly.
I began my journey as a wedding and portrait photographer in 2006 and have been blessed with fantastic clients, many of whom have become great friends. Over the last fifteen years I've photographed all the greatest milestones in life and its been a real honor to watch so many gorgeous families grow. It's pretty special when you photograph a young woman's senior photos and more than a decade later have the privilege of photographing her wedding, pregnancy announcement, and growing family.
My style is much more on the creative and documentary side. I look for candid opportunities to capture and edit my images to reflect the mood, time of day, and atmosphere. You'll notice my family portraits are usually more punchy and bright with color pops, while portraits of couples or individuals may be more moody and filled with stunning shadows and deep colors. Newborns I prefer a softer, lighter editing style, so your newborn photos will be timeless and never go out of style. Weddings, well those are pure documentary style images for me, and I'll edit to fit the light and your theme.
A little more about me...
I adore my daughter and love, love, love her! She is my greatest joy and I'm so blessed by God to be her mama. My love for her fuels this photography business and all of my other business endeavors. I consider being a parent one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a person and this drives me to dream big, work hard, and to make God and family my priority in life.
In addition to photography, I enjoy serving my community as a licensed Texas Realtor®, bringing a holistic approach to the home buying and selling process. I'm also a huge design junkie and I get very excited about helping homeowners style their homes and make them not only photo-ready but ready to live in and enjoy! The profession really allows my artistic side to shine and enhances properties, showing off their true value and highlighting those amazing features. Staging a home is loads of fun!
I'm also a passionate supporter of holistic living and wellness. We are so fortunate to have access to information and resources that can change the trajectory of our lives with simple lifestyle changes and choosing joy as our focus, rather than fear or intimidation.

My artistic path includes...
- A bachelor of fine arts degree in photography.
- Seven years working in the performing arts world as an executive director for a regional opera company and a Grammy award-winning professional choir.
- The past honor of teaching art to students K-8 at a local private school. This was one of my most defining career choices and one of the most pivotal years in my life.
